A safari to see the Sri Lankan leopard, whale watching, and river safari are just a few highlights of this tour. Sandy beaches, misty hills, and waterfalls will give you a glimpse of what Sri Lanka has to offer.
We are happy to customize this itinerary to suit your likes and dislikes, and priorities and choices.
Itinerary
Day 1 :
Welcome to Sri Lanka.
Arrive in the Colombo International Airport
Your guide will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel in Negombo.
Enjoy a leisurely boat ride in the lagoon.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 :
River safari, sea, and coral reefs
Travel to Bentota and explore the mangrove forest, and engage in water sports if you like.
Travel to Hikkaduwa and enjoy the sight of beautiful coral reefs. Scuba dive or ride in the glass bottomed boats to explore the colouful coral reefs and fishes. Rest under the golden sun on the beach, while enjoying the sweet water and the tender flesh of a coconut.
Travel to Galle in the evening and enjoy the sunset from the towering walls of the famous Old Dutch Fortress.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 :
Old Dutch Fortress, and the beach
Explore the Dutch Fortress after the breakfast at the hotel.
Then go to the Unawatuna beach until the lunch time.
Come back to Galle to lunch, and after lunch travel to Weligama.
Enjoy your time on the beach the whole evening. Surf or just enjoy the sun, sand, and salty sea.

Day 4 :
Whale watching and beaches. Proceed to Yala
Whale watching in Mirissa.
Then proceed to Matara. Lunch in Matara. Proceed to Yala.

Day 5 :
Yala National Park, Sri Lankan leopard
Yala National Park Safari.
Catch the sight of the Sri Lankan leopard in its own habitat. Yala has the highest density of leopards in any area in the world.
Night at the hotel.

Day 6 :
Ella, waterfalls, and hiking.
Travel to Ella.
Ella is a famous tourist destination that offers many outdoor activities and nature to explore. Ravana falls and Kithal Ella waterfall, and little Adam’s Peak are two popular attractions located in Ella. Tea estates and misty mountains provide you enough hiking opportunities as groups or on your own.
The first day we will experience a tea factory tour, and visit the famous Little Adam's Peak.
Included meals: Breakfast and dinner.
Day 7 :
Another day in Ella
Early morning we will hike to the Ella rock.
Afternoon we will visit the Ravana Falls.
We will not forget to visit the Nine Arch Bridge during today.
Night at the hotel in Ella.
Day 8 :
Little England and the Last Kingdom
Early morning set out for Nuwara Eliya. In Nuwara Eliya you can enjoy a boat ride in the Gregory lake, and visit the Hakgalla botanical garden. Known as the Little England, this area has British grown tea estates and English style houses.
In the afternoon set out for Kandy. On the way enjoy a cup of Ceylon tea at a tea factory restaurant in Labookelle.
Catch the sight of the Rambodda waterfalls.
Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy. Enjoy a cultural show, and take a walk around the Bogambara Lake. Visit the market, and go some shopping for souvenirs if you like.
Night at the hotel in Kandy.

Day 9 :
Elephant orphanage, capital city, and souvenirs.
In the morning visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage, and interact with the gentle giants. Take photos with them if you like, and feed them fruits if it’s the feeding time.
Arrive in Colombo. Take a brief city tour, and do some shopping for souvenirs if you like.
Evening proceed to the airport for the journey back home with beautiful memories.
