Day 1 :

Arrive in Sri Lanka

We will be there to welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. Spend the evening leisurely on the beach.

Day 2 :

Galle. Dutch fortress, river safari, and coral reefs

After breakfast we leave for Galle. Explore the old Dutch Fort, and then explore the coral reefs at Hikkaduwa. Then We will go on a river safari in the mangrove forest in Bentota, and may even enjoy some water sports if you wish so.

Day 3 :

Another day in Galle

We will travel to see a waterfall in a forest reserve, and enjoy a home made lunch at a local house.

Day 4 :

Elephant orphanage, Kandy.

After breakfast we will visit the Pinnawala elephant orphanage. And then we will proceed to Kandy. Visit the Temple of the sacred tooth relic. Visit the market and take a walk on the streets of Kandy.

Day 5 :

Another day in Kandy

Visit the Royal Botanical Garden. Visit the Ambuluwawa mountain and climb up the 7 storey pagoda for a bird's view of the central province.

Day 6 :

Dambulla, Sigiriya, Anuradhapura

After breakfast proceed to Dambulla. Visit the caves. Proceed to Sigiriya. Explore the Royal Gardens and the Sigiriya rock fortress. Night in Hotel at Sigiriya

Day 7 :

Anuradhapura

Explore the oldest capital in Sri Lanka. The grandeur of 1500 years of rule by 134 kings is still very much visible. Night at hotel in Sigiriya

Day 8 :

Minneriya safari

After breakfast go to Minneriya for a safari. Minneriya is known for the largest elephant gathering in the world Night at hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 9 :

Polonnaruwa

Explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. The most advanced irrigation system of the era made the country self sufficient in food, and rendered the whole province green. Giant tanks, Royal palaces, and Royal gardens would provide you ample reason to stay back yet another day. Night at a hotel in Polonnaruwa

Day 10 :

Pasikuda

Proceed to Pasikuda, a beach on the East coast of Sri Lanka. Long stretches of sandy beaches will be a different sight from the southern coast. Return to Hotel in Polonnaruwa

Day 11 :

Wasgamuwa National Park

Similar to Minneriya, this national park too is known for elephants.

Day 12 :

Kandy

We come back to Kandy. On the way we will stop at a spice garden, and learn about the famous Ceylon spices. In Kandy the city familiar to you by now, take a rest at the hotel, or take a walk around the lake, or go up to the Wales' Park, or visit the Udawatte Kele forest reserve adjoining the Temple of Tooth Relic.

Day 13 :

Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way enjoy a cup of Ceylon tea at a tea factory restaurant. Catch the sight of the famous Rambodda waterfall. Visit the Hakgalla botanical garden. Enjoy a boat ride in the Gregory lake. Take a walk in the Victoria Park in the middle of the town. Night at hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 14 :

Horton Plains and the World's End

After breakfast visit the Ambewela farm, and then proceed to Horton plains. Visit the Bakers' Falls, and the famous World's End. Return to the hotel. Night at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 15 :

Colombo and Departure

After breakfast proceed to Colombo. Stop by in Kitulgala, and continue the journey. Take a Colombo city tour. Do some souvenir shopping if you need to take something back home. Leave for airport with fond memories and beautiful photos.
